The Make-A-Wish Foundation
![]()
Because service to humanity is such a vital part of who Chi Omega is and the enormous potential of our volunteerism, Make a Wish became our national philanthropy in 2002.
This exciting alliance between Chi Omega and the Make-A-Wish Foundation provides a common goal for every Chi Omega collegiate and alumnae chapter; increased the visibility of Chi Omega's volunteerism and philanthropy nationwide; and has combined the prestige of a national charity with grassroots support. In the first two years of the alliance Chi Omega raised up to $836,373.43 and volunteered up to 20,799 hours of service to grant wishes nation wide. What a wonderful example of the community service spirit of Chi Omegas across our country.
To see the joyous smiles on the faces of all wish children and their families
is living proof of the giving spirit of all Chi Omegas.

Every spring the Chapter hosts a
softball tournament called, "Frats at Bat" to raise money to grant a wish.
The tournament is a great way to meet new people in the community and have fun
with our sisters, all while benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation. This year Chi
Omega worked hard at Frats at Bat and raised over 6,000 dollars. We are happy to
announce that we granted our first wish in August of 2006 to a sweet boy named
Connor. Granting a wish is not something that all Chi Omega chapters are lucky
enough to participate in. All of our hard work is paid off when we get to take
part in a life changing experience.
